Mrs. Rose J. Pope passed away at home in Richardson Texas on Friday February 21st, 2025. She was born on October 8, 1943 in Chicago Illinois to Michael Zucchero and Stella Nardi Zucchero. Rose was a devoted wife and mother. Her favorite activities were those, where she was able to spend time with her family and friends who she loved so very deeply. She was unshakable in her faith and an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where over the years she participated in many groups within the church, as well as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Rose was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving family including husband, Isadore (Joe) Pope, son Michael Pope and wife Shanna, sister Mary Ann Zucchero, sister Christine Bezanes and husband Matthew, sister-in-law Marianne Parejko and husband Gene, and sister-in-law Susan Pope. She is also survived by niece Susan Cieplinski and husband Joe, niece Julie Bezanes, niece Katherine Duncan and husband Greg, nephew Jamie Pope and wife Katy, niece Kim Parejko Gauf, niece Kerry Parejko, and many beloved great nephews and nieces. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday March 26th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 600 South Jupiter Road, Richardson, TX 75081. A rosary will be held at 10am, with the funeral mass at 10:30. A private internment will take place after the mass. The family welcomes donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
