Catherine Ellen Rider – December 21, 1934 – December 26, 2022

 

Cathy, “Cici”, Rider was born December 21, 1934 in Weiser, Idaho, the daughter of Frank and Edna Bellino.  She graduated from Boise High School in Boise, Idaho in 1952 and on December 24, 1953 she was united in marriage to Danny Lee Rider.  They had four children, Catherine Elaine (Danny Legaspi, Jr.), Danny Lee Jr. (Lynnell Stough), Carlene Evonne (Larry Gramhofer, Sr.) and David Lynn, producing 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was the family historian and photographer, keeping ancestry records and photo albums for future generations to enjoy.

Cici and Danny retired to Nevada in 1974 after 23 years of travels in the US Navy and relocated to Texas in 2007, settling in the town of Hamilton.  In her spare time Cici enjoyed crafts, crocheting, sewing, reading and spending time with her friends, family and children. Her husband, Danny, predeceased her in October 2021. Burial will be at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, California, planned for early 2023.
