Chimanlal Shah, 92, cherished father, devoted husband, loving father-in-law, and beloved grandfather and son, passed peacefully into eternal rest on December 27, 2024. Born on June 1, 1933, in Dashrath, Gujarat, to Joitaram and Manchaba Shah, Chimanlal lived a life of immense love, resilience, and unwavering faith.
He is deeply mourned and lovingly remembered by his daughter, Mayuri Lulla; son, Vipul Shah; daughter-in-law, Kamal Shah; son-in-law, Sanjay Lulla; grandchildren, Hersh Lulla, Priya Lulla, Dishali Patel-Lulla, Darshan Shah, and Juhi Shah. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of his family and all who were fortunate to know him.
A memorial service to celebrate his extraordinary life will be held on Tuesday, December 31st at Hughes Family Tribute Center, 9700 Webb Chapel Rd.

Chimanlal was a man of boundless joy and quiet strength. His passions included traveling, spending time outdoors, and walking wherever his feet would carry him. Above all, he found his greatest happiness in being surrounded by family, especially his beloved grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
He was a profoundly spiritual man, dedicating himself to his satsang and to his gurus Pramukh Swami Maharaj and Mahant Swami Maharaj, and also living a life rooted in gratitude and grace. Despite the challenges he faced, Chimanlal’s spirit remained unshaken, and his smile was a beacon of love and warmth to everyone around him.
Known for his kindness and childlike wonder, he approached life with an open heart and a sweet tooth, savoring chocolates, delicious food, and the simple joy of seeing his family united and happy. He delighted in taking selfies with his grandchildren and capturing precious moments that reflected the love that bound his family together.
Chimanlal’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and a life filled with meaning. He taught us all to embrace life with a smile, to walk through hardships with grace, and to cherish the bonds that connect us. He was not just a pillar of his family but also a blessed soul whose light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved him.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and faith, an example of a life well-lived, and a reminder that in the joy of others lies our own.
