Gabriel Garza

Gabriel Garza, born on May 19, 1980, in Corpus Christi, Texas, left this world on November 8, 2023. His early love for the beach and sand shaped his carefree spirit, making him a cherished child to his parents, Criselda Espinoza and Geronimo Garza. Growing up, he formed strong bonds with his siblings, especially his beloved brother and sister-in-law.

Gabriel attended Clark High School in Plano, where his outgoing and gregarious nature blossomed once he got to know someone. His fondness for video games reflected his playful side, and his genuine love for all children endeared him to many. Whether working as a bartender or at American Airlines, Gabriel found joy in connecting with people.

His spiritual journey led him to explore theology, seeking a deeper connection with the Lord. Gabriel’s close relationship with his stepmother, Debra Garza, added warmth to his life. Music was a constant companion, feeding his soul and providing comfort in both joyous and challenging times.

Gabriel is survived by his father Geronimo “Jerry” Garza and stepmother, Debra Garza; his mother, Criselda Garcia; his cherished brother, Jerry Garza, and sister-in-law Gina; as well as his loving sister, Jennifer Amberley Perry. He leaves behind three nephews and nieces, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Gabriel’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, a testament to a life filled with laughter, love, and genuine connections.
