Merced Franco, a devoted father, friend, and faithful servant of Jehovah, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and faith. As a lifelong Jehovah's Witness, Merced shared the word of God with everyone he met and lived his life dedicated to helping others find the same peace and hope that he cherished.
He never met a stranger-anyone he spoke with became a friend in his eyes. Merced was a proud family man who worked for over 30 years at the French Room at the Adolphus Hotel, where he formed lasting bonds with his coworkers, who became like family to him.
Merced loved his Cowboys, Mexican food, and gardening-his pear and peach trees, along with his pepper plants, were his pride and joy. His big heart, generosity, and unwavering faith made a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Merced will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and fellow members of the congregation. His legacy of love, faith, and friendship will live on in all who were touched by his warmth.
A family visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th, from 5:00 to 5:30 PM, followed by a time for friends and all family to join from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. His funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 25th, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, with interment to follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park.
Rest in peace, Merced. You will always be remembered.
