It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter and sister Eliza Jasmine Montoya, who departed from this world on February 24, 2024. She was born on September 13, 1990 and left us far too soon.

Eliza was a bright and vibrant soul, cherished by all who knew her. Her infectious laughter and warm spirit touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact that will be remembered fondly by family and friends alike.

She had a passion for singing and making people laugh, and her enthusiasm was contagious. Whether she was making family laugh or strangers laugh, Eliza radiated joy and brought people together in shared moments of laughter and happiness.

In her short time with us, Eliza faced more than her fair share of life’s challenges with courage and resilience. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, laughter and a deep sense of connection with those fortunate enough to have known her.

Eliza Montoya was preceded in death by her oldest sibling, Samuel Lee Montoya and is survived by her parents, Samuel Montoya and Gilda Villagomez, her siblings, Matthew Montoya, Crystal Montoya, Ramon Montoya, Toni-Marie Villagomez and Tony-Roy Villagomez who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. The void left by her absence is immeasurable, and we find solace in the cherished memories we shared with her.

May Eliza Jasmine Montoya find eternal peace, and may we find comfort in the memories that will forever bind us to her spirit. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
