Thomas Lee Coffman Jr.

Thomas L. Coffman Jr. died June 23, 2023. Tom, a loving husband, passed away peacefully at the LifeCare hospital in Plano, TX. He is survived by his son Loyde Coffman, his wife of 38 years Carol Coffman, stepchildren Russell Dixon (Lonnie) and Connie Starnes, 4 grandchildren, several brothers, sisters, stepbrothers and stepsisters.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Kay and daughter Kathy.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling and caring for his ducks and geese on his pond. He was proud to have served his country and his time as a retired Navy veteran. He had a varied career after leaving the Navy but eventually continued his public service as a Detention Officer and retired from the San Juan County Sheriff’s Department. He will be missed and always loved by his family and friends.

A private service will be held at a later date.
